One of my very dearest friends Jessica graduated just this week and to celebrate we walked around a beautiful part of downtown Fort Langley to take some pictures. I didn’t intend to post this many on the blog, but I couldn’t help myself! She’s too photogenic.

Mistake + a new lens!

How stupid am I? I made sure the form was working on my old server before the site was launched, but it seems after I offically loaded the website to www.jamiedelaine.com the form hasn’t worked! If anybody has tried to contact me via the form on the website in the last three days I haven’t got it, unfortunately. So if you could re-send your information, the form should be working properly in about 24 hours.

 We just came back from a quick weekend to Seattle, which was oh-so-nice. It’s so great to get away every now and then! We only stayed in Redmond, WA for one night, but we had two days of shopping at the outlets and the mall. And: score for me, we found a killer used book store on the way home. Three things I love: Sleeping in on comfortable hotel beds, iced venti half-sweet passion tea and used book stores. All of which I got to experience in the last 24 hours.

I picked up a brand new camera lens that I had shipped to Washington. I bought it from San Fransisco five or six days ago and was thrilled that it got there in time. My first professional L series lens, isn’t it beautiful?

  

Ok, maybe it’s just a photographer thing. Other exciting news! I will be second-shooting two weddings back-to-back in Bothell, WA on August 16th and 17th! I’m very excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to just “jump” in to this crazy part of photography.

I shot these images for my brother a few months ago and thought I’d post them here for you guys to see. My website is completely done, but unfortunately we can’t go live yet. I’m still waiting for a few Model Release forms to be signed and faxed back before it can be uploaded to the web.

I’m so ready for it to be up! It’s been a long two months.
